AES crawlspace encapsulation is superior to standard encapsulation systems. Standard crawlspace encapsulation traps moisture beneath the vapor barrier. This moisture cannot dry out or escape. It becomes stagnant and creates mold and mildew beneath the vapor barrier, causing awful odor and bad air to flow into your home. AES installs a VAPORMAT™ system beneath the vapor barrier that constantly evacuates and discharges the moist, stagnant soil gas. Our system dries out the soil beneath the vapor barrier and, in most cases, eliminates the use of dehumidifiers in the crawlspace or significantly reduces the amount of time the dehumidifier needs to run, which will save a ton of money throughout the year.
In most cases, we can install our crawlspace encapsulation system with the VAPORMAT™ system for the same or even less than most standard encapsulation systems. We also install VAPORMAT™ systems on existing encapsulation systems that have odor and air quality issues.
