I am a real estate broker in Charlotte NC and had a previous client that purchased a condo in the Myers Park area. When he bought the condo, the levels were above the 4.0 pCi/L mark so a mitigation system was installed prior to closing on the condo. Throughout the past year, the owner noticed on his handheld radon measuring unit that levels were spiking above8.0 pCi/l so the company that originally installed the mitigation system added a ‘boost’ to it which did absolutely nothing.
